We have a yellow 1984 Austin Mini Mayfair. Can anyone help us to find out where the paint code is so that we can touch up the bodywork?

I'm sorry to sound ignorant but this is all quite new to me...where is the engine/chassis plate? I'm a novice I'm afraid!!!

On that era of car, should be on the inner wing of the engine bay.
There will be a long chassis number then below should be a paint and trim number.
Although I have seen them with missing paint codes before.

think at that age it's probably primula yellow.
It's a black plate on the left hand inner wing, just in front of washer bottle
