Wow, thats a massive step, and a big shock. You must have balls of steel to take a grinder to it. For that alone, I salute you!

If you need any help sourcing trim bits for the back just let me know, foam, clips, carpet etc :P

Chin up Jean, it can't be that bad! You shouldnt have to strip the whole car, as its a bare shell you can see the back sides of most of the panels to figure out what needs doing. Only bits really are the sills and box section supports under the load bay, everything else is really accessible. And with it already being painted theres less prep work to do.

I have a vague idea of what needs to be replaced. So far, I'm not happy with either of the rear arches. I'm not hugely happy with the replacement main floor or sills, either. Errr...

I'm really not sure how far to take it back, but we will try to save the paint wherever possible - Generally, the finish of that is not too bad, but there are sections that aren't great. Also, the section that has cracked, by the rear arch, needs sorting out ... (which is a bit of a pain!)

Er - And the rear subframe needs adjusting, so god knows what's going on there! >_<

Ah well! :(

I'm so sorry to hear that, I was really looking forward to meeting Frankie. Nevermind, on the positive, it means you'll still have Reggie :) Amongst all of the other ones you have stashed away! :ermm:

Aww nooo Bean, sorry to hear this :) was looking forward to seeing him up and about.

Seems like the right thing to do though under the circs; better to get it right now that hit snags further down the line. The little chap will last longer that way :D
