GOOD LUCK WITH COMPLETING THE JIGSAW!!!!!
Hi Jordan,
Thank you ever-so much for the reply! That means a great deal, it really does!
I can't take credit for alot of it though - My gorgeous boyfriend has done alot of work... and so has his Dad! I am hugely grateful for all their work on the car, and especially engine wise, from "England_Expects". I will forever be in their debt, lol Financially and practically, I fear, lol
I really appreciate the comment on the choices - i.e. colour and tints though. From the start, I wanted the van to be modified and modern, but not over the top and not too gareish. I hope that I achieved this with the look of the car. I need it to be comfortable and practical, but I wanted it to keep true to the Mini. Also, as it's a 60s, I wanted to modify it in a way that keeps the car solid and original - i.e., all the mods that I've done to the car are cosmetic and in no way hinder the bodywork. So - It can be put back to original. It was important to me to do this - I didn't want to put massive wheels on or cut the wings for big arches etc - Not on such an early car.
Still, it's been one hell of a project and I've loved making the decisions! Can't say I've loved paying out for them though!
But hey - It's not every
Can't wait to see it finished and thank you to everyone for following the project through, to date!
Thanks again, Jordan

Also need to get the new tyres put on. They want £14 + VAT per wheel to do them!? Is that normal??
Bean I'll ask ed how much his dad charges as I'm sure it's less than that. Or greg might be able to do it at his place....
Loving the windows!!

But hey - It's not every year that you get to build your own car?
Is for me....
I didn't bother with an mpi drop bracket, just made it up out of 5mm plate I think. You can't put it too low or you cant get into the seat, because it doesn't go back far enough. Me and dad trimmed my dash pretty easily out of one bit of leather. Just needed one cut and stitch along the top in the centre and the rest just stretched on.

Matey round here charged me £30 to put new tyres on Boo... but that was on the quiet and with 'real' folding paper money (if you know what I mean)
Budget around £10-£15 per wheel 'On the Books'

Hello Jean, we have your booking and will send tickets out mid June. Mike
Well, IMM is official now!
Help!
Other window is in now, though!
And the car has been dropped down a palette to put the subframes on!

I've made templates for all of the back load bay area. I know what I'm trimming, I just need to start the trimming!
I've also made a template for the floor. I'm going to board it out and then cover it. Just to make the floor a little more hard-wearing.
Also - We've moved to a better part of the barn, with a more decent floor! So, we've been building shelves and Kris has been sweeping up all the muddy-dusty stuff!
I've not stopped coughing since, lol
I've also bought Frankie's wing mirrors
