Be aware that you're obstructing the offside rear lights and it looks like a mountain bike would obstruct the nearside rear lights as well, you're fairly unlikely to get pulled for it, but if you're involved in an accident it can cause all kind of problems.

I had a fairly major issue with a rear carrier that was not obscuring the lights, but was after an accident, I was lucky that the car was comprehensively photographed at the scene and i could demonstrate that the carrier had moved over the lights during the accident, but I would strongly advise using a lightboard with that rack.

OOO Right, Thats Good To Know. A Light Board Would Be The Way To Go I Agree, A Tow Bar Would Be Usefull Too, But Ive Got A Centre Exit Exhaust??

We put ours here - using the roof gutter - no obscuring the lights/no plate !

they do fit in the back, just loosen the headstock and slot the front wheel into the passenger side door pocket, then the rear wheel sits behind the drivers seat.

the straps just sit in the boot, they have dung bell like things to stop them pulling out

we brought it for a vw golf and it obstructed the lights on that so might get away with it

bikes a fly 3 amigos
