They're 5x10 Image :D. But they were designed to be used with drum brakes, so I find they fill a set of Mini Special arches with disc brakes, very nicely :w00t:.

Thanks for looking guys ;).

They're going to be black with an orange ring, like this:

This is Elliots new engine which I bought off Jordie a month or so back, I'm going to start collecting the bits and bobs I need to finish this off as I go. I'd like about 90bhp from it, but we shall have to see. According to GuessWorks' engine number lookup on his site, this engine is from a Cooper RSP, if this is correct, it should be a pretty decent starting block >_<.

That's all guys, I've got a week left and then I have a month off. I'm going to put in some serious time on Elliot in that month, basically every day of the week the weather will allow me :D. Time to get a move on I think.

Thanks for looking.

Brand new pistons/rings too :P So nothing to worry about in that department.

SEX!

Is that towards the paint scheme of the wheels or the look of that car in general?

Yeah, all I need to worry about is making sure I build the rest of it right to compliment the good starting block here .

The good news:

I'm now done at University for a good 4 weeks so from Monday onwards I shall be putting in the man hours on Elliot . Just ordered another reel of welding wire to make sure I don't run out and have to stop.

The bad news:

I just had a go with the sand blaster I got for my air compressor and I've come to the conclusion that it's not up to the task for sand blasting my alloy wheels.

So, now I don't know if I should invest in some paint stripper and give each wheel a good going over and then wire brush them to death after the paint stripper has hopfully done its job and I've pressure washed each rim. Or, do I just bite the bullet and find somewhere to sand blast all my wheels.

Does anyone have any idea how much it'd cost to get 5 wheels sand blasted, ball park figure I mean.

Completely shattered now after moving back from Uni but I've got to sort myself out ready for drinks in town for my friends 21st.

Thanks for looking .
