That paint is just Rustoleum, I've used it in the less visible areas because it's cheap and easy enough to apply. The primer I used is International Red Oxide which I bought from Focus.

I'll be using cellulose (or else PanelBeaterPeter will hunt me down and paint my face!) on the exterior to get a really good shine ^_^.

Yeah shouldn't really be welding in a t-shirt but I seem to do it alot! Most of it is done now though so not to worry. Although, I've never got sunburn off it but I have pretty resiliant skin.

And yes, it was taken at Morecambe skate park, I was going to put it on the half pipe but I wasn't sure what the Police would have said if they had caught me. Are you local to the area then?

The inside looks fantastic, Deathrow. Can't wait to see the outside after following you for some time.

It would be pretty awesome. Have you got a pic of your Mini so I can keep an eye out? Then if you see a dark blue Corsa C flashing, you'll know why haha.

Hugh

Cheers Hugh, I'm not as happy with it as I could have been. I've not seen the dried article yet though. As long as the seat crossmember and the rear bins are smooth I don't really care as the rest will be covered up by sound deadening/underlay/carpet anyway! Would I spray the inside with Rustoleum again? Probably not but hey, I can always correct it at some point in the future if I want to.

this is my sunturn courtessy of my welder :)

Blimey that looks sore! I've never had anything like that from welding, just the usual few red burns where welding spatter has caught me.

I'm currently sorting out my room at home so it is a clean enough environment for rebuilding my driveshafts and hubs. Got the vice attached to the end of my bench as there isn't enough room at the garage, plus it's dirty! I'll do the swivel pins and wheel bearings here and then wrap the hubs in cling film for transport to the garage. That way they stay clean until they're on the car and sealed up :). I'll take a photo when my room is done, progress is progress haha.
