I think a few of you on here might already be using these, but other than that I'm keeping it zipped as to what car it's from :).

I know, I know, I know :)

But then I was thinking on using the same on mine, but then that would mean changing the exhaust, etc, etc.

Wouldn't it sit fine above the exhaust or does yours actually come out of the valance now?

It probably would have before I shortened the link pipe, but the exhaust would still be obscuring the fog light anyways. Plus I don’t know if it would look a bit too 80’s compared the rest of the back end and the mk1/2 stuff. :dozing:

Went to the garage today, didn't get much done, just warming back up ;).

Had a fettle with some bits, got Elliot supported on axle stands and dropped the rear frame so I can clean up the rear end and paint the boot and the boot floor. I'll be sorting the rear subframe at the same time, get it stripped of the crap paint I used last time, paint it properly and get it ready for the road.

What I did do today is have a play with fitting my new foglight as the valance needs drilling for it, so needs to be done before paint.

General positioning.

Close up.

I kind of want it mounted higher, but I need to look up the legislation on what viewing angle it must be visible from as if I go to high the bumper will obscure it from view.

EDIT: 5° above and below horizontal. I'll move it up tomorrow :P.

Thanks for looking :).

No work on Elliot today sadly, I'm having to polish up a bit of group work for Uni. as it isn't up to standard and I'd like a good mark.

Back on it tomorrow though.

Glad you guys like the fog light and yes it is off an early Fiesta ;).

The foglight must be visible 5 degrees above and below horizontal.

I was trying to find a picture of it last night but it was proving difficult.

Nah Ed, I've got side exit with a rolled tip :D. I think we decided it was the same as yours, except side exit, 2 1/4"?
