Cheers mate :-.

Good luck with your boot floor! It has to be my least favourite bit of a Mini to repair, I never seem to do it as well as I would like.

Not alot of progress today because I've hit a bit I need to ask for bodywork advice on.

Posted Image
Panels removed again.

Posted Image
Driver inner wing.

Posted Image
Passenger inner wing.

Posted Image
Stripped.

Posted Image
Stripped.

Posted Image
Test of wing to scuttle.

Posted Image
I can't work out the best way to replace the sections of inner wing I removed, which is why I stopped.

Thanks for looking :).

Better get this back off the third page!

Posted Image
After the good advice I got in the Bodywork section I felt more prepared to tackle the inner wings.

Posted Image
Cut out.

Posted Image
Cleaned up.

Posted Image
Weld through primed.

Posted Image
A-panel I did for the flip front needed to come off.

Posted Image
Done and lip cleaned up and weld through primed.

Posted Image
Got the inner wing pretty close, still needs a bit more tweaking before I'll be 100% happy with it.

Posted Image
Doesn't quite come far enough forward at the top.

Posted Image
Overall look.

Posted Image
This is why safety gear isn't optional. This disc wasn't even cutting anything, I turned the grinder on and BANG. The disc shard hit me in the face (safety mask).

Posted Image
Tucked away in the garage.

Thanks for looking :).

Allow yourself plenty of time Ed!

You can be there pushing, pulling, clamping, grinding, etc. for ages!

Well it has been too long since my last update.

Progress has been coming slowly but surely, Elliot currently sits in the garage looking like this:

Posted Image

I'm now back at home from Uni and I'm going to need my own car again by September so between now and then, some serious work is going to go in to Elliot.

Keep watching :(.
