It's from Arc Angels.exciting! was it from ABS? good fit or no?
It seems to be a pretty good fit yeah, but I won't know for sure until I've sorted the boot floor ready to bond it on.

Could Elliot be persuaded to join his stripy-seated friends over on The Designer Register at all...? They don't mind if he isn't original, they'd just like to know he's a Designer that's still out there on the roads.

Yeah sure, as long as no one is going to point fingers and shout at me I'm happy to .*Sneaks in, sniffs around*

I'll do it once she's finished though so she looks the part at least.

I would personally cut away whats left of the lip that should go over the sill, fit the sill then make the correct plate that fits over the sill then obviously seam weld it to the healboard. If that makes sense, then it'll be the same as mine and original looking.
Thanks for the comment regarding my picture, i've spent ages on the panels i've replaced just havent posted a thread up of my car, i always forget to take pictures and update the thread! lol

No shouting involved. All Designers are welcome regardless of what's been done to them. (Unless they're now candy pink with lilac trim, of course - that's just out of order)

Here's what I've got done, not masses, but laying down the ground work for good progress:
When I arrived.
Boot floor cut out.
The hole.
One of the many bad repairs done in this area by me when I didn't know any better.
Marked out whats to be replaced.
Passenger side arch rot.
Driver side arch rot, theres another on the top but it's hard to picture from inside the boot.
The lip needs some reworking as I've made a mess of it in the past as well as some rot.
Here.
Bit here.
And finally here.
I've all this to sort before I think about putting the boot floor back in, which will be a pain since the repair section I have is rubbish. There is of course some work still to do on the driver side heel board.
In other news, I've acquired Elliot a new engine, so I've rebuilt the 998 now pretty much as a spare, if I ever have an engine failure I can get the car back on the road in a few hours. The engine I've got for Elliot is a 1275 out of a Metro with only 17k miles.
Thanks for looking .

There was this nasty bit on the bottom corner of the rear panel, I'd tack welded a piece of metal to the back and blobbed weld on top of it, ughr.
Grinded the metal off the back and then filed the hole free of thin metal.
Made a repair section.
Welded, looks ugly as sin.
Cleaned up a bit but then my dremel broke so I didn't get chance to finish.
Thanks for looking.
