Chatting with friends this afternoon and thought id put to the masses for your thoughts.

The standard mini wipers aren't exactly the best now are they? now friends have suggested a single wiper conversion but not sure if it can be done. There isnt the greateest amount of space under the scuttle on a mini but could this be done?

Your thoughts please

i was messing around the other day and i decided that one wiper mounted horizontally at the top of the screen is the best way to go! :)

a single wiper will not be able to wipe all the windscreen, because the mini windscreen does not have lot of height.

try greasing the cogs in the wiper motor

Mini Seven and Miglia racers often have a single wiper using the single wiper motor set up from cars like the older Fiat Uno. However the swept area is probably too small to pass an MOT for a road car as the Mini windscreen lacks height for a big enough wiper blade.
