Hey just a quick question. If i want to replace my inlet and exhaust manifold studs with bolts what size and length would i be after?
Cheers

For the exhaust manifold: >>TRY CLICKING HERE<<
and as far as replacing the inlet studs for nuts and bolts, why can't you just get a tape measure and find out by looking?.. all you need to do is measure the thickness of the mating surfaces + 1/2mm for gasket. Then get some bolts that are the right length and some nyloc nuts.
this also depends on whether you're running a spacer on the carb or not... in which case,.. you'll need bolts that are around 3" long i reckon.

I cant find out by looking because i'm not at home with all my parts and wont be for a week or so, hence i was hoping some nice person on here would just give me a quick answer, if they knew, so i can pop out and buy some.
I'm not after carb to manifold, i'm just after some bolts to attach the two manifolds to the cylinder head.
I hope you understand what i mean
The title may not quite explain what i'm after.
Thanks

well i don't know the length but i'm pretty sure (not certain) they're 5/16" UNC studs

Alright Cheers!
I guess an inch and 1/4 would be long enough. I'm not sure how far into the head they go.

get the propper studs, as the 'non' threaded bit of the stud is what the manifold locates on..

The reason i was after bolts was because i figured it would be easier to put on and take off manifolds when the engine is in so you don't have to tread it over the stud. Plus then theres no chance of losing the nuts!
