I have a set of stone guards for my mini with 2 lots of clips.

I have spent the last hour trying to fit them with no luck :)

I googled it and found a how to fit but I still can't figure it out.

Does someone have a step by step guide for dummies please.

I am starting to get stressed :D

Have you removed the outer headlamp ring? They fit under that.

The chrome/stainless ring that goes round the bulb needs to come off, there's a big screw at the bottom of the ring that that needs to undo,.. then unclip the ring. fit your stoneguard,.. put the ring back on, do the screw up.

that's how mine were meant to be fitted anyway.

I tried using the pics above but the clips just fall out when you try and put the ring back on.

Mine doesn't seem to fit like that.

These can be a absolute pain to fit! Any pics off the clips etc and shopuld be able to give you some advice, ive fitted a few sets of these with different style clips, by the way the headlamps are a pain to clean when fitted and once they start to rust there a pain and hard to keep clean and polish etc but do look cool, i had 5 on my italain job, 3 on the spot bar and two on the headlights until recently which i removed due to them starting to rust and a pain to change the side light bulbs, had to be striped down everytime i had to replace the bulbs or wanted to clean the headlights properly, im NOT trying to put you off just give you my advice and as belive me ive lived with them! :D
