Went into Melton today to a small family run wood shop and have given them the dimensions for the pieces of mdf, I asked for all 6mm bits, will that still be sufficient?

Ah I thought I read 10mm, but that was for the speaker board.. nevermind then! I couldn't get any flexible MDF, do you think I could cut the bit that goes over the petrol tank into 3 peices the same size, seeing as it'll be covered in speaker carpet then it'd appear smooth, I just need a way of attaching the 3 bits together..

hmm well if i was joining 3 bits together to form a curve then ud hav to have them angled to they fit together properly, then either get sum brackets an shape them to the angle of the wood and fix together, or use wood glue and smallish nails.

Picking up the wood tomorrow, I'll attached the three bits to the right hand side board on L brackets.

Where can I get speaker carpet from anyway?

Got the MDF sitting beside me now, going to mark up all the pencil lines & then go out and start cutting out & assembling.
