Bloody hell its getting close! I now have no front brakes due to beginning to fit my Ford Sierra Vented Discs and finding out my hubs need machining :)

But I (statically) tried out my new spoiler, and it works!

Engine in, carb all connected up, Megajolt set up, oil filter on, starter motor on, clutch working, alternator on. Still got to connect up the exhaust, fit cooling system and connect up the engine electrics to get the engine running.

Then its just a case of fitting the arches, adapting and fitting the rollcage, then welding the dash bar and harness bar, then fit the passenger seat, oh, and fit my new pedal box, then re-bleed the clutch and brakes... I could really do with sorting out the doors as well. Oh, and fit the perspex rear windows.

Got the suspension being set up tomorrow as well, 35 miles away. I haven't even started the engine yet... :P

its not brand new lol. Basically compressons a bit "messy" and it looks like the valves need re seating. This is possibly because the old owner didnt use lead addative and was running it on Super unleaded? So will grind the valves in and change head gasket too.

The mini looks a mess but she is a runner with T&T. Fitted replacement doors and it does not look like i will have time to paint them properly. Going to replace the engine steady bushes tomorrow and get some spares when i am at it. Need to take out the rear seat so we can fit all our camping gear in.

Good day today. I finished sorting out the suspension, replaced some split fuel pipe and sorted out the random idling speeds that were causing the car to stall quite often. Washed it as well.

Just waiting for the parts to turn up so I can change the selector rod seal. I will wash and polish it on Monday or Tuesday as well.

Just dropped mine down at the RR. Was such a pig to drive there, I think the clutch is slipping too. Didn't help that someone had forgot to tighten the wheel nuts! Hopefully with a RR session it will be a LOT better to drive, otherwise I'll have to think very hard about which car I(we) take....
