Here's the NEW spec on my 1330..

- 1300GT solid wall A series block bored to +.060
- 21253 HC cooper pistons rising just proud of block deck (11-12:1 CR unverified)
- 1300GT 11 stud head, 1.4" inlet 1.1" exhaust bronze guides std rockers, cleaned up ports and combustion chamber ( probaby equiv to stage 2 )
- Tuftrided crank
- Ultralight billet steel flywheel & Back plate
- Early Kent 290 cam timed @ 105 degrees, fully adjustable vernier silent chain timing gear.
- A series helical drops.
- A series Close Ratio GT gearbox with 3.44 CWP on a X pin Diff.
- HIF44 with modified BBC needle 8 oz spring and K&N
- Phase 2 Maniflow LCB hooked to 1.3/4" single box RC40

ooh.. forgot about ignition..

- lucas sports coil
- BP7ES plugs
- Modified Aldon 100AY dizzy, using sliding points and vacuum advance.

30 miles old, and doing the 1/4 in 16.45 on std 145/70x12's

Needs a tune and probably capable of going sub 16 for the 1/4.

1275cc standard cooper S
+ K&N air filter, dunno whether it worth it buying an rc 40 2.25"

Just recently bought a 1.4 16v k series mini With is currently being tranfered into my hornet. I've aslo just bought a 1.8 elise bottom end which will be getting sent away for a lighten and balance. And also in the process of buying some twin 45 webers :grin: Posted Image

I have a 1275 MG Metro lump. RC40 Exaust system, miniflow manifold, new carb needle, K&N cone filter on a HIF44 1.75" CARB, minisport water heated inlet manifold, Duplex timing gear, Kent fast road cam,double valve springs,sports clutch and a lightned flywheel. Standard metro gearbox with quickshift. Fully stripped and rebuilt. (still running it in :sad: )

i have a 998 with a stage one in the van, and a 998 with a rc40 on the othere (i think still have to pick the car up yet) but thats getting replaced with a 1275 soon

Mines a 1275 RSP block and box with an unleaded head, electronic Ignition, mild cam, three branch and RC-40 (stage 1) with oil cooler for good measure!!

Our mini is just a 998, with no modifications. We really want to keep it as original as possible too - so no mods planned just yet.

Right now I have the 1275CC SPI engine. No mods done to it yet.

Soon I'll be getting myself a 1293 stage 3 minisport engine :blink:

It'll have about 80-100 BHP :wub: come on you chav boyracers....

Should put out about 85+BHP Hopefully
