I'd like to ask for your help on what these two are. The ZCars Mini Monte Carlo is a spaceframe with a GRP bodywork attached. As for the ZCars Mini, I thought it retained much of the original Mini, being it mostly a Mini with a relocated engine (with some tube custom rear frame jobbie added for that). A closer look tells me that's totally wrong, as this Mini is actually based on a ZCars full frame which forms the base for a rolling chassis where a Mini shell is then attached. This makes these two a lot more similar to each other to my eyes.
What do you think? How similar are these two chassis? Is the shell / bodywork the only major difference? Many of these ZCars Minis get their windows replaced by polycarbonate or perspex anyway, and all their front by GRP (typically one piece). On the ZCars Mini, is the original shell stressed in any way (floor maybe?) or is it just unstressed bodywork like on the MMC? Can you turn a ZCars Mini into a MMC by replacing the bodywork?
Thanks for any thoughts and comments

Cheers,
Alex
