That paint job is spot on. love the blue and the white, esp with it being white inside the cab and the boot.

Keep up the good work.

love the fact ur car eats chavs hehehehehe lovely

looks great from what ive been told the quick shifts all seem to get a bad press as make it hard to select gears "apparently" the one on mine was removed after 2 weeks as drove the pre owner mad so im happy to live without one onyl think id advise is the spring bias that makes the gear selector return to middle so making a quicker smoother 3rd change

also you dont want to have to strip the box after 4 races as you muched the syncros to death lol :D

gonna be nice on the cylinder head front there still a small edge / lip on the inlet port that would annoy me and id keep an eye on the cylinder head cracking between the 2 valves as they seem awefully close as i say id just make sure to inspect the head every year to make sure its not trying to crack there especially with the heat the head puts up with when racing have you got an oil cooler as i would deffo advise this and also if your gonna spend money on a good gearbox dont forget a center pick up pipe and id even molly slip the box as this coats the gears in grafite and protects them and strenghtens / lubricates the syncros

happy racing :)

Cheap kits will be nothing but trouble but if you buy the KAD kit, you will be just fine... you get what you pay for.

I'd even molly slip the box as this coats the gears in grafite and protects them and strenghtens / lubricates the syncros

Forget it,... the amount of time that Oil companies go to formulating the oil to do the job it's designed for is phenominal, there are a tremendous amount of detergents and lubricants already,..... for someone to come along and add stuff to it often just causes more problems.

Better to buy the best oil you can get your hands on, Penrite is recommended,.. and keep up to date with regular changes, servicing and maintenance.

problem of mini's sumps sharing engine oil though, if you alter the oil thish is designed to prolong bearings in this type of system you could be doing more harm than good, gearbox's arent weak things where as bearings are

theres's already information on the site how to make your own, you need to utilise 2 UJ joints...can be made from ones for ratchet but there not very reliable/good theres companys which make better UJ's like the ones racetec do for steering racks

also it pays off alot by solid mounting the bottom of your gearbox, to the rear, stop as much movment as possible really. heard stories of them popping out of gear
