Hi my names Ken,
Been into Jap cars for the last 3yrs & still got my custom two tone Black & Gold Impreza STi V1 but due to fuel cost's, lack of mpg & wanting to finish the car in time for the 2009 show season i've gone a bought a 94' Mini Cooper in White with Black roof & Black Cooper Stripes with White Signiture.
Always wanted a Mini & would've bought a Metalic Orange S5 but got stitched up by the garage > So ended up with a Rover 220turbo instead
Anyhoo I picked the car up on April 10th & purchased a K&N filter for which I fitted the same day also got some new chrome door handles, pulls & window winders which i fitted a couple of days later then had a pop up DVD/CD/MP3/4 player and Focal speakers fitted today
Love the car scene & been a member of quite a few inc' Jaguar Enthusiasts Club, Mazda Rotory Club, Skyline Owners Club & currently a member of Subaru Impreza Owners Club, so had no choice but to find a good Mini club to register upto
Hope to attend some local meets & big events might even get some ideas on things i can do to just make it look that little more smooth & tidy

Had a light blue Mini infront of me this afternoon whilest heading towards George Whites, i'd just picked the car up from Sextons.
Seen a few about, couple of BRG one's, Red one's an Orange one and a highley modded Bright Green one, very nice

My one is Yellow b reg 13" Starmags. The Modded green one was down Newquay this week well cool dont know him but i know minimadjonesy friends with him.

I'm sure i've seen an old yellow once or twice thinking about it lol.

Got lots of plans for the Mini, Full respray Black with Gold roof & Cooper stripes, Gold brightwork, 6x12" Gold (ss lip) alloys front and 8x13" back, Black with Gold Cooper stripes leather seats, Black & Gold steering wheel, Black & Gold dash & ctr column, Black rocker with Gold stripes, want the filter top Gold plated, 2nd set of spotlights.

That should do nicely lol
