Hello.
I just brought 2 airfix model kits, theese are the first ones ive ever had. I have a look at one which is a spitfire, and all the paints seem correct.
Bit on the other one, Pugeot, there supposed to be 6 different paints, but lal i have is red, and 5 of whcih are the same and look mettalicly Red. Do they change Colours somthing whne you paint them on ? or is this just me being silly and stupid. Or have i been ripped off.

Are the paints the right colours on the lids? They may just need stirring if they are enamels.

They should have a code on them somewhere? Humbrol enamels are a royal PITA, try tamiya acrylics or games workshop paints

Cheers everyone. After stiring the wrong paint, you was correct about the colours being formed once stirred, Many thanks. Yeah I have heard Tamiya paint is quite good, I have some from an old mini mk1 i have had for a while, not got round to doing it yet. What models has everybody made here ?

B/W photo tells you how old this is. We rigged a shot of it in the car park (scalpel, paste and a bit of retouching with a paintbrush
in those days, mateys, no such thing as pcs with editing software) and stuck it in the local paper for a laugh.
Remember, newspaper pics were grainy dots so it didn't look too bad.
