Stuveedub thks for the comment,i dont think mine is upto show standards as yours was,i wouldnt expect to get a prize, but i will take it to shows purely as a spectator.!!

Just a quick update,passed its MOT with flying colours just needed headlights adjusting,just waiting for new log book from DVLA before i can start using it.

Are you planning on fitting a front bumper eventually, or leaving as is?

I quite like it with out the bumper...but will get one soon but they are so expensive.

excelent thread mate . great restoration by yourself i just spent the last couple of hours reading through . and to say i was very impressed . helps me out with myclubbygt as to were the brake lines go etc as i forgot lol .

Just read through from the beginning. Excellent project, you made it look easy.

I hope to be buying a project 1275 GT in this colour in the next couple of months as there's one for sale nearby. I just need to sell my 205 GTI to fund it.

Lovely looking motor. I especially like the bumperless front with the square plate - give it a more aggressive look. If it were mine though, I'd have shod it with Revolutions rather than Minilites...

Hi yes still got the GT but not been used for 2 yrs due to work and other commitments,planning to comission her this week as booked for MOT and try and get tickets for the Tatton Park GT weekend.
