The blue head looks to have bigger valves, as there is less metal between the inlet and exhaust valves. Have you got any pictures of the ports?

My 78 clubman was rotten in all the same places as yours. I've just done the roof, it's actually not that hard. Just time consuming.

Progress is slow at the moment, engine is in bits,ready for rebuild,pictures to follow.

Not much to add really, working on the engine.

Well its been ages since i last posted, but i have something to report.
Picked the head up on friday, worked carried out was new unleaded seats, skimmed,pressure tested, and any valves were replaced, now the rebuild begins.
