Wow! Ive been of the scene for a bit, busy with family and firends and holidays etc, blah blah and i come back and all is painted and youve started the rebuilding! Looking fantastic mate in all respects, colour, shine and finish look stuning, only tip is you have alreay built the doors up and fitted door cards, hope you have waxoyled the inside of the doors to stop any future rust issues from happening and once youve done that make sure your drain holes are clear as the wax will come out in the hot weather and drain holes seem to block over, so another poke with a instrument of some description and they will be clear again. Ive just waxoiled my mini, drilled holes in sill steps and groomet them up, ive just 10 litres and been outside on the drive in the sun with old ice cream tubs catching the drips of waxoil out of sills, rear pockets, doors, bonnet seams, and rear valance pockets etc ....

Keep up the good work! and look forward to seeing more photos!! :)

i use washing line to get the screen in, fit the seal to the glass, then run the washing line or cord on the the lip where its goes on the bodywork lip, over lap the the washing line or cord about 3 inches, get someone to hold the screen form the outside and then from the inside slowly pull the seal over the bodywork lip being carefull not to rip the seal on the corners as can be VERY hard and tough to get in, fitting windows is NEVER a easy job. i norm waggle the washing line a little as i pull it if it makes sense. once you got the seal on and window in then you will need some black windscreen tex sealer to run around the seal and when you put the chrome insert init will ease out any excess and youll have no water leaks. you will need alot of kitchen roll and white spirit or panel wipe to clean the excess sealer off and its a REAL messy job!!! When you fitting the window in the car, if it seem really hard and the seal wont pull over the lip i always use some wd40 which sofens the rubber enough and makes it go over the bodywork lip ALOT easier, depends if you using a hard original seal or a new one i guess.

Good look and let me no :)

Eventually got the rear screen in, the way i did it was seal on the car then put the screen in the bottom of the seal and worked my way round using plastic tyre levers.
Also started emptying the shed and putting some of the trim back in.

Pro job, very nice, have you got the wider rubber for the front screen, I know it's hard to come by new.
Noticed you put the joiner at the bottom looks well.
PS; What did you use to bring the seats up that great? very clean job. And not critisising, because how can you on such a beautifil job,
but I would either match the parcel shelf to seats or body colour, sorry, being pickie now, lol, would set off nicely. Even Black not grey. I have a brown carpet set and cards which need dire clean up. But if you want them they are yours, just postage cost, you should be able to use carpet for shelf, there if you want it. regards janbie68

Hi janbie69,

The grey material you see on the parcel shelf is sound insulation so it will be covered, the seats were cleaned with astonish carpet cleaner i think they came up a treat.

Sent you a pm about carpets.
