The standard of the paint job looks astounding, I know you're in the Liverpool area, was it sprayed close to you?
Lovely car, in the best colour.

Tomorrow (sunday) going to tackle the dreaded headlining never done one before, is there a particular way of doing it or just go for it?

i changed my head lining not long ago, i find the best way of fitting one is source a really good clean second hand item, and carefully remove it and carefully refit it to your car, that way your not messing about for a few weeks stretching it to get all the sags out, as it will already be to shape! and it works out cheaper than buying brand new! sorted!

Apparently, fitting the roof lining is one of the hardest jobs on a mini.
Fair play to you.

I fitted my front screen about a month ago and put the seal on screen then put in place, but only bottom and sides of screen will fit. did this not to scratch paint, then eased the rubber over the top of screen, easier said than done. Then positioned as best as could and fitted chrome strip. Had no jig tool for job. But with havin lots of experience with double glazed windows, thought I'd have a go, I heated the rubber with hair dryer and put washing up liquid into rubber. Then with rounded off wood pushed the chrome strip in , about 1 inch at a time, heating and liquiding as needed, it did not damage the chrome strip in any way. when you get near the last corner you would think the screens gonna pop, because of the gap still left from the frame of the car, but it did not, it bedded nicley thank god.Well the headlining is finally fitted as best i can, not perfect but it will do.

After 2 hours of messing around though, I did not care if it had of popped. I was talkin to a fitter the other day, he said he can do one in 7 minutes, so whose the mug. But atleast I learned something lol. Plus he said there is a sealant you can use, instead of puttin it in dry.
