Have not read the whole story from here, I was thinkin you must take those number plates off and clean them up, original plates will set her off lovely when completed, very impressed with your work, as like me you said you are a beginner/novice at this game. Class keep it up.A few more pictures after trying the spot welder for the first time, pleased with it great piece of kit.
Put to use.
Valance completed and primed

Still have not got to the end of this tread, but would love for you to spray the whole car Java Green, once that original sun roof is fitted she will look the mans genitals, good luck.Just had a read through and loving the project. I'd love a 1275 GT. My vote says keep it standard. A black roof sort of cooperises it which I think confuses the theme.
Looking forward to seeing it resprayed.

Leave it matt black, like it should be, from the factory.
Lovely looking panels, can't wait to see the car in full.
