Just had a read through and loving the project. I'd love a 1275 GT. My vote says keep it standard. A black roof sort of cooperises it which I think confuses the theme.

Looking forward to seeing it resprayed.

Not posted for a while due to me being made redundant and needing to find work, well i have secured full time perm employment, so the project is back on again, trying to get into a local bodyshop to be sprayed, so will update here again soon with pics i hope.

A quick update managed to get it booked in for the paint 20th June, cant wait a nice fresh coat of Java Green.

Hi Penfold, is it going two pack or cellulose ?? Nice to hear its going for its coat of paint, once its painted you will feel so chuffed and happy and give you a major push to put it all together and get it back on the road and enjoy driving the mini instead of working on it etc... it makes a real difference to drive a mini after you worked so hard on it to do it up etc ...

I bet your chuffed yours is done and your driving and enjoying it, i'm leaving the type of paint upto the experts he paints mini's for a living, and i cant wait to put it all together and enjoy it hopefully this summer fingers crossed.!!

The guy who is painting it for me has spent a bit longer than he thought on two cars he was doing before mine, but he told me its getting done this week...fingers crossed.

Got a few pics but not of the car,but the doors are done,collected them as they are finished and stored them away.









more to follow soon, but the shine and colour is amazing and cant wait for the shell.
