hi basically i need to run a elec fuel pump for my new 1380 engine , just wondering how easy are they to fit , as far as i know they mount in the boot next to the fuel tank thats it , any idvice please?

A quick search should get you a wiring diagram to safely install the pump

My install was as follows

tank to pump(with built in filter) to front to rear fuel pipe under the car to a filter/pressure regulator mounted on the bulkhead to the carb

All depends on the pump you use

I fitted mine to the N/S web of the rear subframe - it's one of the small square solid state ones so being under the car isn't a problem and it's quieter than if you mount it in the boot (where my Dad's one is). Here's a pic:
