Tidy welder for the price. However, its minimum current is 35amps which will make it very difficult to weld thin metal. Most "hobby" welders go down to 30amps which is better (though still quite tricky at times) and a couple from the Clarke range even go down to 25.
It depends what you want to weld at the end of the day, but I wouldn't recommend that one for bodywork.

I agree with Sway, 35 amps is too high for bodywork.
For hobby use Clarke welder are well thought of, machine mart do VAT free days which can make them very attractive.
Another option is to join www.mig-welding.co.uk and PM a guy called weldequip, he will do you a good price

Hi, I bought the 135TE from Machine Mart can't say enough good things about it, got it on a VAT free day for £165, used to be £199 inc VAT but they put price up to £211 in April which is still a good price. Had a shitty no gas mig but that was useless, so got the Clarke, full restored my mini with this, done two inner wings, scuttle, two full sills, two front floors, two rear arches, two rear subframe mounts, rear valance and more, been through 3 reels of wire, 4 gas bottles, 4 tips, 3 shrouds and it is still going strong, will service when finished project, for the money this is awesome, hope this helps.( Maybe I should work for Machine Mart) LOL

Thanks for all the replys
I wont be buying one of those then.
Do you know what would be the best Mig Welder to buy for under £400.

You could open a can of worms with that question.
I have just bought a Butters AMT 1800 and am very happy with it.

You can get them for £400 delivered off ebay

Nice welder Seamus. Thats one helluva welder for the price, I didn't realise you could pick Butters kit up that cheap.
Remember kids, a Butters is for life not just for Christmas!

Thank you very much, I'm very happy with it nice and smooth.#
Had a Cemont before, was never happy with it, the Butters is a much nicer(and cheaper) machine

I'm another one for the clarke 135TE from machine mart. for a hobby welder I can't fault it. owned a SIP 150T before this one but the wire feed mechanism was terrible and forever going wrong.

yeah ive got a sealey welder top of the line one(dads mate gave it to us) its ok but like people have said its too high power wise and can burn through alot of the time, but has been better niow ive use the 8mm wire up and got 6mm, may change over to the other welder (migatronic or somethinglike thats was like a 1000 pounds when it was new had it for a good few years now) but its set up for ali welding at the moment. by the way what size wire do most people use for bodywork 6mm or something lower?

I didn't know you could go below 0.6mm?
Sealey stuff is ok and usually better than SIP, however for the money there is better on the market.
