Bang a 24v 6cyl M5 in there and slap a dirty great Holset turbo on it mate!!! Add 30 psi and 800+bhp's your uncle lol. Great car though as it is to be fair. A propper battle wagon being an estate. Love the older type of beemers. They look good and handle great. I nearly bought a Mint 2002ti for 1200 squid last october but problems with work put a stop to it. I was well gutted.

IS Valance is back on...
...along with many other preperations for the ring. M42 Engine now has had new head gasket, profile gasket, new fan coupling, +4mm overbored throttle body and evolve chip. Plus I gave the bay a scrub up:
Fitted new ferodo ds2500 brake pads. Then bucket seats, harnesses and fire extinguisher from my mini:
Then fitted an e36 steering rack as its quicker:
Gonna make my seat brakets out of something sturdier when the 8mm thick steel turns up tomorrow, as at the moment it's only 3mm ally.

Everything looks great with a load of seam sealer and some paint!
Also bashed out the rear arches as one scrubbed due to bad repair by some else previously.
And gradually have been tweaking.
Bored out the throttle body, added powerflow exhaust and chipped to suit.
Added a 4.27 LSD.
Polybushed everything - all mounts, anti roll bars bushes, m3 eccentric at the front.
Now needs a new wing and a tailgate so will be making grp items at some point.
