Yes, because it clashed with another Mini run in the same area and because this new date gives us more time to organise it.

Where would be a good place to park, I'm guessing Maderia Drive is going to be far too busy to use?

If it's nice weather there's pretty much no chance of parking on madeira drive.

Back in the day when I drove to Brighton but didn't want to pay for parking or have the hassle of going round to some back roads where I know there's free parking closer to town, I'd park in the marina. It's a bit of a walk back to Brighton but it is free (park in the actual car park if you're going to, not the Asda one as they clamp nowadays) and it's a nice walk along the beach :(

Haven't decided whether me and Neil will do this run, depends on whether I go home for that weekend...If we do, then we'll be joining you part way through the drive as I cba to go all the way to chichester, then through my town to eastbourne and then back again :teehee: call me lazy :D

I would say the best place to stop would be Brighton marina, big multy story car park, as i guess theres going to be a lot of us?!?? And its free parking, theres Pizza hut, Macd's, Sub-way Frankie and bennies to name a few.

Either that or maderia drive, which is pay and display, but likely to be very busy, but there is a few fish and chip places around there!

What you (we) could do, is drive through maderia drive as part of the run, if it looks good to park us all then do it, if not then carry on 2mins down the road to the marina??

Just a thought :D

Mark.
