i hear lots of issues with poor fitting fronts, were you able to move the bonnet pins/ mounting plates to adjust the position or was it all sanded to size?
iv almost gathered all the parts to swap mine to fibreglass but am scared i wont get it finished in a weekend boohoo..
Aslo any idea if flipfronts are moluded to the later size arches to take 13" wheels or will they need to be cut??

right the front was secondhand,so it had already been fitted to someone elses mini before i got it,it took a lot of work to get it to fit like that, but it may be easier if it has never been fitted before.cool man looks real good with the black on white.

You can put the bonnet pins etc were you like, also depends on wether you are going to flip it or have it removable.
it took me ages to fit, quite a few weekends, alot of it depends on what you find when you pull the old steel front off how much welding you have to do etc.
i am guessing you will have to cut the arches.
hope this dont put you off,i am well pleased with mine and all need for a mot was a front pipe,so its great now its back on the road.
any more questions just ask, hope all that helps

Project is looking very good indeed. Ive recently picked up an unfinished flip front project car. Looking at doing some new hinges, mounts and clips etc.
Where did you get those clips/latches from that you have used on the a-panels/wings?
Cheers

Nope, mine have been like that for two MOT's now. When i was doing my conversion i did phone the MOT station and they said they are fine to be on the a-panels, also there are some cars out the factory that have them behing the wheel...
