i am going to spray it but got to replace the a panels other bits and bobs first, as for the shine factor, i have know idea never sprayed fiberglass before, or might just leave it for the bad a**e rally look lolAre you spraying yourself? or even spraying it at all?
& can you get the same shine on the fibreglass as you can on the metal?

more work on the flip front over the weekend ,new a panel and scuttle repair panel,first time i have ever fitted any body panels

what i did is cut out all the rust and left 2edges of good metal to tack two was i right to do this?I know you probably haven't done this but it Looks like you've tacked the new panel over the old one

the top of the panel looks like it's lying ontop of the old one... this is not how to repair the scuttle sorry mate. The bit you cut out should have been cut so that the new panel would be a perfect fit inside the hole that was left over. Then you butt weld the pieces together.. you'll get a nice seamless finish when you grind the weld back... also means you don't have a 'step' from the old panel to new to try to hide with filler.
