if your looking around £200ish... investigate a rear beam axle conversion.... lighter and fully adjustable... i think the full kit with coilovers etc was about £299

I have a rear frame for sale...

As for as the beam thing goes, Huddersfield Mini Spares sell a kit at a good price. I have a beam and coil-overs on mine and it seems to work well...

I've just bought a subframe from Mini Spares for £90.

Then I got my holesaw kit out and went crazy. About a day later it weighs about 2.5kg lighter. so it now only weighs 12kg.

If you are interested, each radiud arm (including the drum(steel)) weighs around 15kg. I'm getting some Minifins soon to get that down a bit, they're about £80 I think.

Hope this helps.

I'd also suggest you go for the beamaxle convo if you can afford it. Supposed to be really good!
