Anyone done this?

I thought i saw a picture of it once, but unsure where...

I'm thinking about refurbing my alloys soon, and then repainting them white instead of silver.

My cooper has a white roof and white stripes, so it should go well i thought.

What's everyone else's thoughts?

Oops! I thought i'd mentioned that!

It's black!

Black 95 Cooper, White Roof, White Bonnet Stripes and those standard cooper alloys that look like minilites.. maybe they are, not sure...

personaly mate i would get them re-furbished and put back to standard,it will make your mini look mint!

mint as in, just outa the factory and nice and shiney? It'll be far from that with the flip front, harness, rollcage, bucket seats, checker plate dash.. lol

I thought having lovely clean white alloys would be pretty snazzy, even if it is a shout at the BMW MINI...

More of a.. "I can do that too, only better!"

Would look good! Ive got white ones on mine, but my cars white! Personally I prefer them to the silver ones, bit more different!

Yea it's a matter of taste I think,

personally I think white alloys look great on mini's of all colours (except Silver!)

but yea I reckon it'd look 'pretty snazzy' like you say on your black mini, certainly sets your one apart from the rest

What paint did you use? and is that a polished silver rim still?

And finally, what kind of alloys do i actually have? lol!

No I cheated and bought them! But yeah, the rims silver...

OBVIOUSLY,the wheels will look mint once re-furbished,its entirly up to you what you do to the rest of the car
