£42.64 inc vat. Made while you wait.

They wanted the old hose to match the banjo fitting, as 20degs is not a common angle. They said I could use some welding wire to bend into position and they would match that....? Can i not just use 45deg or 90deg banjos?

He said once they are crimped and fitted to the hose, they cannot be changed (easily anyway).

Jordie try llama4x4.co.uk he makes custom hoses with any fittings upto 1 metre in length incl delivery about £16 each

Are you using mk1 calipers or mk2? as the mk1 calipers are an imperial thread the same as the mini hose where as mk2's are metric (so im told)

anyone got pics / details of there hose setups.

Pics of the banjo setup would be nice. Dont want a 'S' kink or the hose to fail mot by touching components so its vital i get it right.

I'm just wandering why haven't so many people used mk1 calipers? are mk2s better in any way? or just more easy to source?

i found the answer to our question:

"the difference is they way they attach the mk1 use like a clip system where the mk2 use the more modern bolt-on slide arrangement."

Anyone got pics of the MK2s fitted to a car using a banjo style hose? I want to see how your hose sits and looks. Then I can make sure my hoses are correct and when I come to fitting, it all looks ok.

you have to remove the recess on the caliper though as it doesnt let the hose sit properly, like this: -
