Without knowing better, I'd say that those fit nicely over fiesta brakes as those should go over 7.9" mini calipers too.

and they look DEEP

when the conversion is done how do the back wheels line up with the front do you need to compensate for the extra width that the metro flanges cause?

Does any one know if the mk2 fiesta carriers are the same as the mk2 xr2 fiesta carriers?
Managed to get a set of calipers but I didnt know they didnt come with carriers and I can only find people breaking xr2s on ebay. Or anyone where I can get just a set of carriers on thier own?

Carriers *should* be the same. Atleast that's what I've read.

When MarkRally did mine we tried some vented XR2 calipers but the spacing was all wrong, so I dont think they will fit.

as above can anyone clarify if xr2 caliper carriers are the same as standard ones?

Also do both types of metro drive flanges have the 4 lugs in the middle of the flange?

or does anyone have a how to disguish between the two pic/guide?

Im going to investigate the XR2 calliper thing myself unless someone can clarify. With the metro flanges, they do have the 4 lugs on them which haven to be machined off and are required to space the disc out into the centre of the calipers (Im pretty sure thats right)

Im prety sure that my calipers came of an XR2, and there the same as the other MK2 versions iv seen. Im sure i took some pics to show the fitterences in the flanges, ill have a look and see if i still have them, but the metro flanges are also alot thinner than the mini ones.

Edit: i must have deleted them as there not on my laptop anymore.

there are two types of metro flanges (one type for solid discs and one type for vented) do both have these lugs on? or is it just the vented ones?

my mate has a pair of flanges which have the lugs on but where attached to solid discs (he was told they were mg metro flanges with 4 pot calipers but solid discs) would these flanges be suitable as if its only the vented type that have the lugs they were the wrong flanges for that setup if you see where im coming from.

confusion at its best
