What brand of mini lights? but i would imagine they will considering iv managed to get steelies to fit and they along with mambas are the most difficalt to get over other breaks, they usually only fit over the standard 7.5" calipers.

Does anyone have a list of part numbers for the hoses to order from rallydesign. Or even a list of part names.

Is it possible to use the standard fiesta hoses and change the fitting on the copper pipe at the subframe to suit, is it male or female? and will the fiesta pipe be long enough?

I have only seen them used where the fitting has been moved to be mounted on the inner wing to stop them from double bending.

Got the brakes fitted tonight ! fitted a treat with no rubbing and te wheels fit well with clearance. all thats left to do is fit the new hoses !!..............

Can anybody tell me what part of the original hose/bulkhead fitting i need to be removing.........

I've tried undoing the hose side of the subframe with no joy. Should i be undoing the rigid brake pipe first then undoing the bulkhead fitting the radiator side of the hose. Is the large nut on the inside of the subframe the other side of the bulkhead fitting. What about the drivers side?

Cheers,

Got it all apart tonight.......... had to cut the union of the rigid pipe in the end, I'll have to make up a new rigid pipe to run from one side to the other.

All fits a treat though, this is a great conversion. Hope the braking is good too.

Well iv had this all up and running for about 250 miles now and they have seemed to work prety well, but i have just found out teh major downfull to this conversion, having a look over my engine today i saw that the driveshaft (pot joint part) was about 10-20mm out of the diff!!!

So i got all scared thinking my hub nut had come lost or ball joint was about to go, so i took the wheel off and inspected everything, so i couldnt think what was going on, but i had a good think about it and remembered the metro flanges pull the wheels out 10mm either side, so this will be bringing the driveshaft out that extra distance...

So now i really dont know what to do.

So if anyone else has dont this conversion i would check your driveshafts.

If anyone has come accross this how have you overcome the problem? the driveshafts is still gripping properly, but there cant be much of the spines in contact...

:shifty: :shifty: :shifty: :) :P

EDIT: Having a think about it this might not be right as the gap between the hubs and gearbox will still be the same... ;) i dont know what to do has enyone else experienced this?

any news on the positioning of the driveshaft
i want to do this conversion and just trying to get the pros and cons.

sweet, how are the brakes working?
i went to a second hand spares place they want £35 each per reconed caliper plus an old pair in return a bit steep i think.
