I have all the parts now except for the brake lines which I/m going to order next week. Where does the bolt come from for the banjo fitting end?

got my hoses from rally design, good price, great service they came the next morning! just ask for the banjo bolts from where ever you order the hoses?!

I'll second this - great service and quick delivery.

Sorry to kinda hi-jack this thread, but i am very interested in doing the fiesta conversion. A quick question, is it possible to put MK II calipers on with the standard servo, (i.e. will it be strong enough)?

Finally, what years were the MK II fiesta's produced?

Cheers, James

Here are the years:

Long thread this!
My contribution; Metro hose got same MM thread as Fiesta, but seals at the bottom.
I used an old set of Aeroquip hoses for the Mini/Metro brake conversion. These could be
taken apart and changed so they fitted at both ends.
New sets bought today will be squeezed together and can´t be taken apart.

Got all the parts assembled over the weekend (new wheel bearings, ball joints etc). Fitted the hubs to the car and the discs when it came to fitting the caliper carrier it pulled tight to the disc locking it up. I then ended up adding 2 washers to each mounting point to make it central over the disc. does this sound right?

So anyway, passange side assembled awaiting brake line connection (dreading that) and need to finish assembling the drivers side. Hopefully I will have it somewhere near tonight....

Got to get my 6 x 10 wellers re-furbished now.

Oh, and should I use loctite on the brake lines where they fit into the caliper on the bajo bolt, I haven't but wondered if I should take them off and do so.

When i done Gr4h4ms, i only put one washer in? Have you got the correct drive flanges?
Dont loctite the brake fittings into the caliper.

Cheers

The drive flanges came from an MG metro with 4 pot calipers.
