ok cheers mate.If i have understood right, the connectors will be tighten over the hose and inside the connector, there's a "pearl" which holds the hose in place and prevents leaking.
by the way. look at the goodridge catalog. Lot of different kind of connectors and hoses there.
edit: look at the chapter 10. There are assembly instructions

You may be able to utilize a metro pipe but the banjo bolt will be different, Metro is 3/8" UNF and fiesta is M10x1.0 and dont forget to get the correct length banjo bolt as there is 2 lengths depending on which banjo you fit as you need at least 4-5 threads in the caliper after you have fitted copper washers both sides.
Cheers

Hello mate what i had on my car was metro 4 pots and i removed the cailpers and fitted ford ones i took the link pipe off and fitted the banjo on the end of the pipe and the banjo bolt fitted the cailper (the cailpers came from a MK2 fiesta)
so the banjo bolt must have been m10x1...

has anyone else found this with mkII's?
i plan to face of the inside of the drive flange so the disc sits further inside, its only like 1.5-2mm. nothing drastic.
hopefully will be getting hoses once its all bolted up in place.

ok i mocked the assembly up yesterday, i havent turned my discs down yet so it wasnt a great mock up, but i found the disc sits towards the outside of the car and not in the middle of the mounting bracket.
has anyone else found this with mkII's?

yep we have found the same a small washer spaced the caliper bracket spot on. We haven't finished the mock-up yet but we have everything ready now, all of the old parts have been degrease, wire brushed and painted black and man they look cool now... We are creating a small how to vid so will post it when we are done as we are refurbing the hubs too

i might do the same then, certainly easier than getting on a lathe at college.
might face the dirve flange off at a later date just to make it all flush and lovely...
