Etch primer, POR15, then smooth black hammerite or chassis black would be my choice.

Zinc primer is weld through primer and doesn't have any etching properties so I agree with Peaty above, etch then colour. Thanks Bye

POR-15 is apparently best applied to bare metal, this is how it works best as a rust preventer. So would there be any need to etch prime, would this not lessen the rust preventing properties of POR-15?

Just wondering as i'm undecided what to use on bare metal frames, floors etc.

I was thinking POR-15 then stonechip, then body colour?

Is zinc 182 no good as a primer for bare metal?

Zinc 182 is a highly effective rust retarding coating. It can be applied to all ferrous metals such as car bodies caravans farm and factory equipment garden tools and furniture gates etc. It can also be used as an ordinary primer on surfaces such as glass fiber wood etc. When hardened Zinc 182 forms a tough surface to which further paint may be applied

No need to use stonechip on anything that isn't going to get alot of wear or contact with the environment. Zinc 182 would do instead of etch primer, but it's rubbish. Tereson Etch is a million times better.
