Hi, an old wives remedy is to place COLD tea bags over your eyes, I'm a dubious about the washing up liquid and wouldn't recommend it!!

Yes this was what an old boy welder told me years ago. Non herbal mind you!!!!!

having just read through this it brought back memories when it happened to me!! 1st port of call should always be A&E! there is very little you can do once it's happened unfortunatly! I found the dark room and lots of rest (sleep) the best.
Second invest in the best mask you can afford @ least £200 for a half decent mask. Look after your eyes you only get one set...lol
