I am in the early stages of a hayabusa build, Im stripping my 97 cooper at the moment, hardly any rot just plenty of heavy sound deadining to get rid of......
Kit should be here in 6 weeks
I best get back in the garage and pull my finger out

At least we all have somewhere to turn to solve the problems.....

The bit I find most daunting is tackling the wiring, which is the bit looming fast (pardon the pun- couldn't resist)- after I've fitted the sump windage plate....
Good luck with it Mark.
Regards, D*ck (it won't let me spell my name, and I never really liked the name Willy that much!)

I would arrange for an entire brewery in exchange for help with the "spaghetti"!
You are most definitely taken-up on that offer!
I will also take masses of photo's when the car is resplendent in its new paintwork (circa 3 wks)
All the best

I have been taking pictures as i have been stripping the car.Any pics???
Keep you up to date, Hayabusa engine has also landed now, half the weight of the cast iron anchor i just removed and twice the power with a bit left over

Had to persuade the garage to fit them, they were a bit scared of scratching the wheels!!
Next job is to get the custom exhaust pipe made for Castle Combe

This means I'm going to have to buy another set of wheels with A048's on. Either that ,or I'm gonna have to work extremely hard and fast at deminishing the tread on the A539's!! Mutleeeey!
