I've been meaning to ask Dale, what power is your engine running? As far as I can remember its the same airfilter as mine but yours has been dyno'd? Just curious what to expect out of mine....

Mark

Mine weighed 609 kg. The shell is all steel and it's fully carpeted. It also run's a servo which I believe your doing away with. I know of another that is fitted with a zeemax kit and that only wieghed about 650 kg. Your's should end up around the 600 mark.

So it's hydraulic then. Are you using the mini master cylinder there. Mine is a cable type one, so prob go to MK Sportscars tomorrow and get some bits and bobs.
Very clean i must say. And thanks

Yeh, using the normal mini master cylinder, I modified the slave internally to limit clutch movement after destroying my first clutch cover and spigot!!

Dale,
Had to modify the throttle links that Chris gave us. If we had fitted them as supplied we would only have got 1/2 throttle. Simply cured by drilling another hole further down the metal shaft. Means the cable comes out of the body and angles down a bit but at least we get full throttle. Put a bit of outer casing over it where it comes out of the bulkhead to stop it catching.

Haven't touched mine since I repaired the engine. I have brought some angled chequer plate to go around the top of the pick-up sides but can't be bothered to fit it. Too cold and wet to go outside.

Mine is putting out 165bhp at the moment. You should be a few bhp more..maybe 170bhp

Have you found the tendancy for Chris not to check things before he sends them out??

Cool! Is that at wheels or fly?

I think the only thing from Chris we had to modify was the accelerator assy.

But then I think we had some of the first ones he made.
