YAAY!

After a succesful trip to Germany and back on the BH2NRetro run (what a great time we all had) I am undecided what to do with the old girl.

I took her for her MOT yesterday and the tester said that she was unbelievable.

"Bloody hell, underneath's all got the original wax on it, and inside the tailgate. It's in good nick this isn't it"

So, now she's got a 12 month ticket on her I'm really in a state of indecision (as always). If I keep her, I can't keep her standard, which would be a shame. I will HAVE to put a decent set of shocks on there, a brake upgrade, some bigger steel wheels with more of a dish and a modern powerhouse (I'm thinking either 2.0 16V Golf GTi engine, or maybe even a 1.8T Golf engine

why modify it if it's that orignal and in that good a shape?? I'd keep it as it is!!

Anyway it's not entirely original, it didn't leave the factory with bacon on the roof and egg down the doors did it?

You may mock me Mr Dan, but the bacon fat has added a wonderful saltiness to the Rocco and the smell when it's hot is awesome!

The egg on the door handle, I can think of worse things to have on a VeeDub door handle to be honest!

Nope, one of my mates organised a local one a few weeks ago (start of August in Chirk, North Wales) but I was in Eire at the time so missed it. Aaaand, the weekend after I got back from Germany there was an International Scirocco meet just down the road, btu I couldn't make it to that because I was too busy Aint been to a Dub show for ages!
