Would LOVE a caterham or equivalent, but it's not the right time to do it. Maybe in a few years. Really have fallen in love with a Nova GSI. Would suit me down to the ground.

Not sure this reply belongs in here any more :), but to those who are interested - I've just picked up the block from machinists. All looks like good work, except they haven't machined the main caps, so I can't fit the block girdle. Not a big issue as I can get it done another time.

The beginning of the end!!!. Thought I'd go to the garage to work on the Minus, got halfway there and *BANG!*. Cuts out. No idea whats wrong with it, VR sensor has been playing up since I changed the end. Maybe its that. If I can't get it going for nothing, then thats it, no more mini

Bad times :dontgetit:

Been thinking a lot (obviously), and I think the best thing I can do, is use the engine, brakes, interior and lights etc. on the Minus, and flog whatevers left. Which probably won't be a lot. Then there won't be an awful lot to spend on the Minus to get it roadworthy, and my bits won't go to waste.

Bit gutting really as I would have liked to 16v it, and taken part in the 16v sprint challenge. Maybe when things have settled down, we can think about a promotive kit for the Minus. At the end of the day, my (expensive) engine would have been wasted in a daily drive mini (rusting away!). If I could have 2 cars, then I would have kept it, but it's just not possible.

So onwards and upwards. Next car should give me some more challenging things to think and learn about. Hopefully a bit more comfortable to go out in, and generally live with. I can then focus on the Minus properly, and keep it looking tidy.

Probably Minus again. Although I do have another 4 somewhere. Managed to get it going again by the way. VR sensor cable had broken.

That's cool, I'd love a set, are they 10x6?

Yup definitely 10x6. Not sure if they are the same offset as mine though.
