Nope genuinely do want to sell this time :withstupid:.

Been looking at several cars, varying in price quite a bit!. When it comes down to it though I really really really really want a Nova GSI. Maybe not to some peoples liking, but they can make awesome track cars. I've had my fair share of water leaks, breakdowns, driving to work in winter with the windows open, petrol fumes from the carb, and general non practical-ness from the mini. Time for a change. As long as I have this car, the minus will never get finished to the spec it should be.

At least the engine will be used in a car slightly more sensible than a mini. Gives me a chance to mess with DTA too. No ball joints to shim, a heater that works, small FWD car suitable for a mad turbo engine in the future, and still retain some kind of luxuries - like driving in winter with the windows closed.

My mind has been made up!

Fair point.. I made the same decision about 2 years ago when I had my other blue mini, bought a 205 gti.. was fun for the first month.. then I had to come back to minis due to missing it too much.

Don't think i'll miss it to be honest :withstupid:. After all the money I've spent on it, 1380 etc. Its still not enough. I'll still have the minus though if I ever do get bored. It's fun without a doubt, but I've just had enough of the lack of comforts. I don't mind stripped out loud cars, but sometimes theres a limit.

Would rather the car go as a whole. But if I can be guaranteed to sell the lot in pieces, I'll list it on here.

There does come a point where people need to move on and get a more practical car.
Especialy if your using it for work.

How much are you going to put it up for?

I would have thought it's worth more in parts than as a car.

Exactly Ben.

If I could get 2k for it, I'd replace the scuttle and spray the car. Then there would be absolutely no rust on the car whatsoever. If it doesn't go for more that 1500 though I'll break it for parts. Will definitely be worth more.

Well if it was to be broken, i'd take the megajolt and probably the front end.

Me and Tom have been discussing Caterhams for a good 3 years now. I think thats the way to go Tom, you know what I think about those, but if you're fed up of water leaks and crap practicality then Nova is the way to go :-
