Rang SBD up. I want to get my block machined through them now. Remembered last time the local place managed to break as piston and lash up the cam bearings. Don't want any of that shizz with this engine. So might be off to surrey at the weekend to drop it off

Just done 150 miles, and burnt off pretty much half the engines capacity of oil.

Time for another engine.....

Very cool, I have those same bonnet catch's, but chose the flush fit type, will be fitting them with stainless domed bolts to show the teardrop shape, not fitted them yet, i'll wait to see how you get on.

I've already had a quick mock up, and it looks like I'm gonna have to put the pin in as side entry, as there isn't enough clearance underneath the Aerocatch to get locknuts and stuff in for the pin.

That might be more of a problem for me, as they fit from the under side, could you not step or space out the bracket? (just noticed the triangle across the corner) Are you using them in all four corners? you could have the bonnet raised at the back for air flow?

Not really a fan of raised bonnets if I'm honest. I'll only be using 2 at the back of the bonnet, and the front will be held on with 2 M10 stainless cap head bolts. The main front will also be bolted on.
