Guess

Just got in from lightening a standard door frame. Just about lost a kilo. Add that with the loss from the winder mech, door skin, other stuff it should come to a reasonable amount.

Boot floor fitted and finished, O/S drivers door 95% finished. Just need to add all the door handles, fit mirror and the door card. Also fitted a new A panel and finished off with a dab of paint, literally .

pictures in a bit as I'm knackered. But it looks pretty awesome!

Nice work, are the sub-frame mounts affected by fitting a carbon floor? As my floor has been bodged and i want to cut it out and do it properly. What's the plan with the rest of the paintwork, guess you are not painting over that lovely carbon weave, i'd best pull my finger out and fit my carbon arches before this nice weather ends.

Looks better see . As you can see the boot floor doesn't affect the subby mounts. I shall be beaming mine anyways. The tank mounting point at the rear does get in the way of the floor though, so that needs a bit of modification.

No idea about the paint. I keep saying I'll get it sprayed but its gonna be after the Vaux goes in if it does get sprayed.

I also HATE Tiger Seal A LOT!! . Seem to end up with it everywhere.

Nope CBA with the 1380 right now. Still an option if this blows up though. Mega *drunk* though as I didn't get the passenger door done today. Bodyshop mullered the door up so its not useable . Feels like a MASSIVE saving on the doors though. Feels mega light even with the glass. Its not just the skin that been touched though...

So need to get a decent passenger door frame cheapo ASAP!.

The bodyshop messed up your door?

From the accident repair just over a year ago. OK the door was split anyways, but they tacked a repair at the bottom and covered it up with RTV and stuff. So kinda annoyed me after I ripped the metal skin off!

Yeah need a new door ASAP really. And no . Will be very shortly. Just didn't want to weld the mullered wing to the nice new A panel, only to take it off again.
