The hinges on turbominis are about half the price of the Carbon Weezel ones IIRC,

Cheers for that JR, Jack posted me a link earlier and they are £125 + P&P. Still too much for me to warrant 4 hinges!

Got some Ti rods and some CF gear winging their way to me soon. Should be able to make some interesting bits. Also got a few more holesaws/spares on their way from Screwfix, as I busted mine up

Want to sort this leaking exhaust, and general gayness of the mini exhaust system:

Cut some flanges out and got some universal exhaust gasket in. Should hopefully seal better and make fitting / removal 100000x easier. Will do something similar with the LCB affair.

Here we go then.

Was up at 7:15 to go into work, Finished by 11 so checked my oil level as i know its leaking (badly) - only about an inch on the dipstick  would explain the oil surge when cornering!!! So went to town and got some more :dontgetit:

Anyways got it up on the ramps and stripped the timing gear off - all looked fine but gave it all a clean up anyways. Fired it up and yes it still leaks. Looks like its coming from the top of the gearbox end cover?? Weird though. Will whip it off tomorrow.

Got bored of that so decided to sort this exhaust out. 99% done now, just need to weld the last flange on in the correct place and tidy it all up. Sorry about crap pictures, it was dark by the time i had spare time to take these.

Jobs i would like to get done tomorrow:

Sort oil leak out
Crimp reverse switch wire
Change oil pump
Finish exhaust
Put door back together

What I will actually get done tomorrow:

Nothing :)

SOOO much more pleased with this setup. Easy to remove and 100% sealed!

And yes, you can still remove the top manifold part - MUCH more easily than normally :)
