Not really any updates, been spending moneys on things other than the car (makes a change!!) Though i did pick up a HOOJ sheet of 3mm mild plate from the steelies the other day as I'd used what i had up on making the frame so far. It's been hammering it down with snow here the last couple of days, no real problems apart from I raised the idle speed a tad. Bloody pleased i sorted a heater out aswell!!

Successfully managed to get stuck in snow today. Decided it was time for a little trip in the snow, so went to the industrial estate about a mile away. Drove in, and got stuck  Tried to remove myself from the lash up but was going nowhere fast! 5 mins later though the farmer saw me  Few quid later and i was freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Then went straight home LMAO

Real update this time, but no pictures

Gave the car a bit of a going over today seeing as the worst of the weather now seems to be over. Ripped the carpets up as they seem to be doing more harm than good by stopping the floor pans from drying out. Dried the floor out and found a couple more bits of rust FFS!!!! Something thats appeared since i done the overhaul last year. Rust formed between the heavy front seatbelt plate (in the sill) and the inner sill / floor pan and rotted through and a bit in the corner of the rear floor. Cut the bad out with PLASMA POWER!, shot blasted, protected, and welded in the new. Got the rear one to do tomorrow. Gave the car a good going over with underseal as well as chunks of ice had taken all the protection off underneath the car!!
Also "adjusted" my door skin (read as: leaning against wall and stuck foot into the door) because the monkeys never fitted the skin correctly when it was accident repaired. This let gallons of water into the car and rested in the floor pans. But that should be sorted now. And finally my minispares order came, so i could fit my new set of door handles all round.

Well i finished the rear floor repair today :shifty: Managed to also bodge the drivers door up so it closes better. It's knackered anyways and don't want to put the good door on yet. Got happy with the underseal again so should give some more protection ;) It's also been running on 3 cylinders occasionally, and again today when it was idling. So changed the plugs and tried to start it, and then proceeded to cack myself after the fuel ignited in the exhaust!!.

Bad news is i need a rear quarter repair panel (just under the window) got several bad spots and its just easier to replace a whole section.

You'll get there in the end mate.

Look forward to seeing the Quarter replacement anyway!
