Cheers mate!! . Ive got it booked in for a rolling road session at T&M in Colchester, but the soonest saturday he can do is the 22nd of August :gimme:. Still, it will give me a bit of time to make sure its got new plugs etc. I asked him about Megajolt ignition and the 40 DCOE Weber, and he seemed pretty clued up on them which i was pleased with as some rolling roads wont touch either.

Yer i imagine some places wont touch 'em. Ive got the MJ system but not a weber, (Running Twin HS4's) although im tempted to go for a 40 or 45 instead!!
What do feel about your drops? as im excited about mine, do they live up to their reputation? they sound amazing in the video

I totally LOVE THEM! :) Yeah admittedly they totally do your head in on anything more than a 15 mile drive, but when your hurtling down country lanes it wont bother you much :gimme:. They really do sound awesome, plus the amount of looks you get when whizzing about town is great  Most people think that its not meant to make that noise from the way they look at you, but i just smile and toe it away haha!

Your project is just awesome Mate!

Haha sorting some stuff out This week!
Last thing mate,
What were your Running in methods?
was it 75% Throttle 4800Rpm Max and 20 Mins at 2000Rpm to Wear the Cam in..
What else did you do, regarding oil changes and driving style

Basically the method i used was:

1) Prime the oil pump with plugs disconnected so it wont start
2) New oil filter and cheap MINERAL oil.
3) Bed the cam in at 2000rpm minimum for at least 20 mins
4) Change the oil and filter, use cheap MINERAL again
5) Take for about a 50 mile drive, preferably in one hit (keep an eye on oil pressure, water temp etc.) taking it to about 3000rpm in each gear at about 75% throttle, but dont load the engine up below about 2000rpm in high gears.
6) Change oil again, used same filter as last time, half Duckhams, half cheapo
7) Run the engine upto about 75% of its max redline (my cam ends at about 6500rpm, so 75% of is about 4800rpm), 75% throttle and no loading under 2000rpm in high gears. Ive done this for about 200 miles now.
8) My next step would be a complete oil change to Duckhams, new filter, clean my oil magnet on the back of the block then pretty much use as i fell safe to. Then after the rolling road session id call that fully run in.

Edit: Last thing - Use as much deceleration (engine braking) as you use acceleration. Helps to bed the rings in even more.

That is a very good plan! and one i might follow, i was going to run her in one of 2 ways:
How did you find driving her with rev limits, as Small bore powers all at the top.
Thrash her and drive her like i stole her over 2 days completing 200 Miles a day, dropping oil each time.
Or
Do what you did but slightly less intsense, but
i prefer your maths and percentages to mine specially since my cam ends at about 8500Rpm, so i can go to 6375Rpm Sweeettt!! think i might have to limit that to 5000Rpm to be safe though!

HAHA! Legend! Basically whatever method you use, do regular oil and filter changes for about 200 miles, dont drive it like a granny - it needs work to do under different loads and rpm's, and yes id limit that to 5000rpm :gimme: I didnt find mine too bad to drive at low revs, but mind you I've got a tame cam. I will be sticking a Kent 286SP cam in VERY soon though, but decided to put the tame cam in for the very reason of running in. That Kentcam should see me around the 8500 mark too
